Why Facebook may be key to helping Aliens like Earthlings.

Surely, it is not everyday the social media giant, Facebook gets mentioned in the same breath as 'Aliens'? I did not think so. My thinking is however a bit lateral here because if I were an alien able to travel across Solar Systems or galaxies I would be able to detect huge sources of electro-magnetic energy...I would discover this elementary but earth-wide connection looping endlessly across the earth - over 400 million individual threads intertwining in what we call..the INTERNET. Once I found the Internet (or hacked into it) it would only take a few seconds to find FACEBOOK: The ultimate Guide to Humankind Behaviour. Or Earthling 102. (101 would have been encountered while dodging the earth's numerous satellite probes and alert systems for Aliens like me).

Unlike Stephen Hawkins, who I unashamedly agree is one hell of an astrophysicist but who's gone alien bashing of recent, I think Facebook may be one of Earth's last defences when Aliens infiltrate the Earth and need to know quickly if we will mean them harm - just give them an hour to see the fab pictures of people all over sharing billions of fun, wooshy pooshy feely pictures, hard party pictures and the Aleins would simple re-organize and agree Earth would not pose much threat to them. Eh..but would that summary really be a good thing? Watch 'Independence Day and War of the Worlds again.

Well, while I have had some fun poking at the general focus on Aliens right now thanks to Stephen Hawkin's comments on the subject matter, I also find the element of understanding humanity via social networks a distinct possibility by the so-called Aliens. That is, if the aliens did not come in bombing straight off the bat. Maybe a Facebook flag on the Moon anyone?
